What you’ll see
Opening the link signs you in and drops you on a single, focused screen: the name of the tool you’re connecting, a short line of instructions specific to that provider, and one button — Connect [tool name].You don’t need a Sync account first. The link handles that part for you.
Completing the connection
1
Click Connect [tool name]
The button names the specific tool you were invited to authorize.
2
Sign in with the tool
A window opens for the tool itself — sign in there and approve access, the same way you’d connect any app to your Google account.
3
You're done
Once the tool confirms, the page updates to You’re connected! and you can close the tab.
When something’s wrong with the link
Consent links are single-use and time-limited for security. If you see Link not valid, one of a few things has happened:- The link has expired — ask whoever sent it to send a new one.
- The link is invalid — usually means it was copied incorrectly or has already been used. Ask for a fresh link.
- Network error — retry after a moment; if it keeps failing, ask for a new link.
You can’t fix an expired or invalid link by refreshing — a new one has to be sent from Sync.
