There are three ways mail leaves Help Genie Mail: the global Compose button, Forward from an open thread, and Approve or Edit a Genie’s suggested reply.

Start a new email

Click Compose in the sidebar (or the round Compose button on mobile) to open the composer.
Compose modal
Fill in To, Subject, and the body, attach files if you need to, then click Send. You can drag files onto the modal or use the attachment control; the total attachment size across a single message is capped at 25 MB.

Forward from a thread

Open the thread, find the message you want to forward, and click Forward. A rich-text composer opens with the sending-account picker, a validated To field, and the quoted body already filled in.

Approve a suggested reply

When a Genie has drafted a reply for a thread, an inline Suggested reply card appears on the thread page.
Suggested reply card
  • Approve — send the draft as-is
  • Edit — modify the body, then send
  • Ignore — dismiss the suggestion
See Genie Decisions & the Brain for more on how suggested replies work.

Sender identity

Each account can have its own display name and signature (plain text and HTML) set from Settings → Accounts.
Account signature settings
These are used when a Genie drafts replies from that account.
Signatures aren’t automatically added into the body when you write a new email or forward a thread yourself today.

What’s not here

There is no Reply or Reply-all button on the thread page itself — for a manual reply that isn’t a Genie draft, open a new email from the global Compose button.
